Professional Development
How many times have you attended a seminar where you received information, materials, and sat in a room listening for hours to workshop leaders who indeed imparted valuable points of interest applicable to your area of responsibility or general development? You left the seminar or workshop and also mentally left almost all of the information in that room? How much input have you had in the content and format of such seminars? Almost none? Clarity Coaching offers an alternative - partnership in planning and continued follow up. Focus of professional development (for groups or individuals) can include:

  • Training, seminars or workshops designed with you as the partner.
  • Communication and listening skills - how to improve both - especially across generations
  • Presentation skills - how to use your voice, body language, stature to improve your communication and collaboration with others
  • Networking - not only when you are considering a career change but always, both within and outside the work environment

  • Goal setting and achievement - how to set realistic goals and walk the talk to successful goal achievement
  • Coaching - for executives and middle managers on how to better coach and mentor their direct reports
  • Writing skills - how to write clear, effective, succinct emails, letters, reports
Career Coaching
Individual coaching begins with a complimentary meeting to get acquainted and decide whether to proceed with a coaching program. Generally, weekly meetings are scheduled, unless otherwise preferred, for approximately 50 minutes each week. Email and/or brief phone contact between weekly meetings are included. Various week-to-week activities might be included as "assignments" in the process. A coaching relationship may span several months or more depending on the desires and challenges a client wishes to address or accomplish.

Group coaching is also available and can be customized for companies or organizations based upon the need and time appropriate. Brief email and phone contact between meetings would be arranged as determined in the introductory planning meeting. Group coaching might focus on communication and collaboration, listening skill development, presentation skill training or other topics of interest to the client.

Resume and Job Search
Document or portfolio development is a must whether a client is in transition, deciding whether to step into transition, or is not interested in making a career change but has not updated a resume (or different resume versions) in some time. An annual update and revision is most highly recommended. You never know when you might need it and you also don't realize how much your experience increases or changes because it frequently "just happens."

All professional development and coaching fees vary with the content and length of time devoted to a program. Fees are paid in advance.
